MOVIES: We've had a theatre on this corner since 1908 when it opened as "The Marathon
Theatre". It then became "The Sanders" and "The Pavillion" and in the Fall of 2017 is expected to open as "NiteHawk Prospect Park".
Though the outside will retain it's lardmarked look, the inside is expected to include 7 screens, 2 kitchens, 2 bar
areas, IN-THEATRE dining and an atrium overlooking Prospect
Park. PARKS: Though several "Green Space" parks are nearby, Prospect
Park is our most famous park and is just a 5 - 10 minute walk away. It was built and designed by the renowned NYC Central Park designers Holmstead &
Vaux, Prospect Park hosts many forms of entertainment. Follow the link to learn more about all the park has to offer including
walking tours, horseback riding, bird watching, newly restored woodlands, tennis courts, the Carousel, and Nature Center.
